Toddlers are becoming aware of their individual identity. They are ready to explore and learn. Our program is developed for this fun stage of development. We provide a daily schedule that allows the toddler to build a strong foundation of experiences.

Look and See How We Spend Our Day at Sandee's

Circle Time:  This is an opportunity for your child to develop their speech/language skills. During circle time your toddler will be exposed to a wide variety of books, songs, finger plays and an opportunity to share conversation in an intimate setting. We also will encourage your child to count the days for calendar.

Table Time:  As toddlers grow fine motor skills are always essential in any program. We provide several fun ways to develop this skill through puzzles, shape containers, nesting cups, duplex, busy beads, sewing cards, blocks, and much much more.

Activity Time:  Creativity and imagination take charge as your toddler is introduced to several new textures to explore. Our program is designed to provide art and craft ideas along with allowing the opportunity for your child to express his/her own unique style. This is found to be a favorite time of day.

Free Choice:  As the toddlers finish their art projects at their own pace your child can find something new to play while they finish up. Physical development is encouraged at this time. The classroom is designed with plenty of space to build large motor skills.

Outside Exploration:  All toddlers need to run, climb, jump, and play games. We have a wonderful playground and we provide plenty of toys to keep your little one going. Our center takes the children on walks or we use a buggy to stimulate your child's curiosity.

Throughout the program your child also participates in music and movement, cooking projects, field trips to various locations of high interest, and the learning never stops. We strive to provide a constantly improving program at our center.
